I had the pleasure of being part of local couple Jacqui and Kane’s wedding day last spring. Jacqui had a vision of what she wanted right down to the beautiful single white bloom she wore in her hair. The bouquets were with burgundy touches amongst roses and I sourced some deeply coloured carnations, hypericum berry and alstroemeria to do the job! Camellia leaves were scattered throughout, which matched Jacqui’s inspiration images, and really gave this bouquet that touch of greenery and extra fresh feel. The ceremony was held at the beautiful little church at Chatsworth Island and posies of gypsophila were made to line the isle. I walked away from delivering these flowers with such a strong sense of family, local friendships and that there was a true celebration going to be had.
